So.....this weekend I have been pretty sick and well, Lauren has a Netflix account and I have my own laptop. So I watched and abundance of movies. All of them with Heath Ledger or Jake Gyllenhaal. And that, my friends, is because the first movie I watched was "Brokeback Mountain." I feel bad for the people that just dubbed it "the gay cowboy movie" cause it's so much more than that. I loved the actors, (Jake has pretty eyes) the acting, the storyline, and the message. I also loved the music, especially the little heme tune that was played hroughout the he movie. Thank you, Gustavo! And the the director, Ang Lee, really did a great job with it. If I had to pick a favorite lead, it would be Jack Twist, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, because he was like the romantic one and the optimistic one about their relationship, with Ennis del Mar. Oh, also, Alma, played by Michelle Williams (her and Heath Noe have a son) was amazing. Anne Hathaway did a so-so job playing Jack's wife, Lureen. Wasn't feeling it. Anyway, all in all, best drama movie I have seen. And deserved the three Oscars it won.

So, before in my earlier entry I told you about Ro- bleh. So, I was talking to her boyfriend, my ex, casually this past Sunday. I asked him how his weekend was and he said 'I am probably going to remember this weekend for the rest of my life" he said, "Its bad" and that it was between "Him and roz". Aeron then decided to tell me he had bought a condom on Friday. Then everything clicked. It reminded me of one big bad fan-fic that I was stuck in the middle of! I cant even look at either of them without thinking about it!...Which is disgusting! So , I am completely done with that son of a monkeys uncle and his bitch of a girlfriend. Kassidy and I will continue to make jokes during band about her horrible attempt at straightening her hair. F*** you Jace!

Sam slowly pulled away. Nick could feel tension in the air. I heard a basket ball fall to the floor and bouce of to the other side of the gym. Mitch was in awe. Sam ran to the girls locker room, her friend Katrina close behind. What happened?

"Dude, what was that? Since whne did yuo decide to kiss Sam?" Mitch wanted answers, now.

"She kissed me." Nick stood stalk still, watching the girls locker room door, waiting for Sam to come running out giving him all of the answers. Instead, Katrina came jogging out to meet Nick.

"So, Sam is in a state of 'puzzliness'," Katrina always made up words, her nickname throughout elementary school was "Seuss". "She wants you to meet her today after school at Zippy's Coffee." Katrina turned back to the girls locker room sighing in finality.


Nick saw Sam one other time in the hall that day, Nick smiled but she didnt return the favor. Mitch and Nick had scheduled a video game marathon that day and luckily Mitch had an emergency basketball practice, so NIck didnt have to worry about blowing him off to see a girl.

The walk to Zippy's felt like an eternity to Nick. What was Sam going to say? What was Nick going to say back? What was going to happen in the long run? Would things ever not be awkward after what happened today? By the time Nick reached that small town coffee shop his brain felt sweaty and he felt as if he were going to pass out right there next to a hobo.

Nick walked in and immediately saw Sam. He avoided her eyes and pretended to not see he rquite yet. Nick walked up to the counter and ordered a gingerbread peppermint latte. The only time Zippy's had his favorite item on teh menu was this time of year. Nick might as well seized the moment.

Nick got his spiced drink and looked up to lock eyes with Sam. This time she looked away but i kept walking to the table she sat at.

"So what was that all about today?" Nick asked, totally casual.

"Well. I dont know I just got this weird feeling in the bottom of my stomach, and then I couldnt control what I was doing." Sam once again avoided to look me in the eyes. "I am terribly sorry if I made you uncomfor....."

Nick cut her off, "No, you didnt make me uncomfortable. Not at all. For a while now I have been starting to really like you......I love you, Sam."

Sam was quiet as a mouse. She took a sigh of relief. "Nick,....I love you too."

Deja Vu from just earlier today Sam leaned in. Nick stopped her, "Before this happens again, I have to ask you something."

Sam giggled, "What?"

Ncik put his head down and laughed a little bit before coming back up, "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Nicholas Evan Adams, yes I will be your girlfriend.

Nick and Sam kissed. Right there in front of the occupants of Zippy's. They didnt care they had been in love since first sight. Little did they know what was really in store for them in the distant future. Or more present...the next week before Christmas break.

Though in high school now, Nick and Mitch still very much enjoyed taking a p.e. class every once in a few semesters. They were in the last semester before Winter Break. The physical education coach barked out different stretches. Nick turned around to see Sam looking at him., smiling. Mitch was saying something about Chemistry, Nick was too engrossed in what Chemistry was happening with him to pay attention.


"Find a partner and line up on the black line." Mr. Butler ordered.

Nick matched with Mitch while Sam matched with Katrina. Nick wished he could be Sam's partner. But he couldnt just leave Mitch like that. Guys before girls. Basketball was the game of the day. They practiced just getting it into the net without hurting anyone. Mitch turned out to be some partner. Coach ended up working personally with him, that what happens when your partner is the MVP of the League Championships two years in a row.

I walked on over to Sam who was having a hard time, tennis was her game not basketball.
"Need some help?" Nick asked in an I already know you need help tone.

"In tennis you dont have to throw something that heavy towards the ceiling."

Nick came up behind Sam and put his arms around her shoulders and up on top of her arms to hold the basketball as well as she.

Nick felt butterflies dance in his stomach "Bend your knees and elbows, aim for the basket, and with all of your strength....spring up and let go of the ball."

The ball soared through the air landing directly in the rope hoop above.
"Yay, thank you so much." Then it happened.

Sam looked up at Nick directly, he smiled, she smiled and and then Sam raised herself on her tip toes. Sam leaned in and Nick leaned in, lips embracing in the end. This was no ordinary first kiss either, this was minor tongue embrace that Nick had been waiting for his whole life.

Nicks palms moistened as the clock ticked. A kid behind him tapped his pencil on the desk, the pencil sharpener was rarely vacant, and then of course his crush just had to sit in front of him. This girl was not head of the cheerleading squad, but she was the only girl he had ever liked, Samantha McIntire. Sam was so...so...down to Earth. Not popular but not so far as to be president of the chess club. The craziest thing about it was, they were best friends.

Nick had loved Sam since diaper days. Sam's mom and Nicks mom had known each other since they were little girls. When Sam's mom got cancer her life took a downward spiral. Nick stepped in and became her "brother". Sam's mom then died a short while later.
Since then Sam only thinks of Nick as a brother not a boyfriend.

"Hey Nick, wait up," Sam called to him as they left science. "I was talking to Rainee today and she asked me if we were going out. Isnt that crazy?"

"Yeah pretty crazy,"Nick wasnt so sure.

"I got to get to math or Mr. Smith is going to kill me, see ya." Sam stopped in the hall to reach up and peck Nick on the cheek, "Bye."

Nick stood stalk still in front of his locker as the wave of high school juniors flew by. His hands were to numb to turn the dial. Out from the corner of his eye, he could see his friend Mitch coming up the hallway. Mitch sighed as he approached Nick. "It happened again man, didnt it?" Mitch turned the dial on Nicks locker. This had happened before.

"She doesnt want to be anything more then friends," Mitch grabbed Nicks history book from the top shelf. "Let it to and be happy with what you have. "

"Dude, i love her. How can i let that go?" Nick closed his locker.

So i just found out from a semi-reliable source, Hime, this guy i know really likes me. Okay weird...cause when i did like him he said he didnt like me like that and that he like one of my best friends. Now that they have broken up....its like he is just moving on to the next chick trying to find something that clicks....i dont want to say no because i know how attached he can get....i asked him a few weeks ago if he could talk to my crush and ask him about what he thought of me...he refused to because according to him my crush is an inconsiderate jerk...when really my friend likes me. So he texted Hime telling her he liked me...and now he is trying to deny it....i really like this other guy. And him....not s'much.

On October 24th, 2008 at 5:10pm I will be in the movie theater getting myself ready to see the one the only.......

I woke up at 6:10 am. I sat there thinking about how much I didnt want to go to school and how much I wished to be switched to a different science class. Two minutes later I recieve a call from cousin. She tells me how much she dosent want to go to school because her new junior high sucks. We laugh together and then tell her I need another ten minutes of sleep sp we say goodbye and I will call you later. My cousin and I are that close. So I got up and went downstairs to take a shower. I almost collapsed of exhaustion I am so tired. Though when I get home from school I cant take a nap. For if I take a rest then I will not be able to fall asleep tonight and then I will be even more tired in the morning. Anway now i am ffo ot loohcs.............................

    I can not believe the summer has gone from me again. It seems like yesterday I was celebrating with my friends an end of the school year party. Going to a new grade always scares me. Even if I know exactly where all of my classes are and most of my friends are in those classes, I know how to get to my school from my house, (besides the fact I am walking there with a bunch of my friends) and this year i won't be at the bottom of the social food chain. By starting the new school year I think about things that go along with peer pressure. Including dating boys, wearing the right clothes, and not being a teachers pet. Though I try not to every year my friends nominate me teachers pet for getting good grades in that class. I ignore them and get on with my life, which leads to dating boys and wearing the right clothes. Last year my wardrobe was what my mom thought was cute is what I bought. This year is totally a new style. Its a little quirky. Wearing a different style is an easy way to catch a guys attention based on my books. I have had one boyfriend in the past and now that I think about it he was a total jerk and I don't know what I was thinking. In that situation I was probably thinking about what every one else was doing and not what I wanted to do. This brings me back to peer pressure and then to.....the Start of a New School Year.
